Observable signs in animals, and the diseases that may be associated with them. A symptom is not a diagnosis: only a veterinarian can make one.

Thickened or darkened skin

The skin becomes rough, cardboardy or darker than elsewhere, often in an area that has been scratched for a long time.

Tremors

Involuntary muscle twitches, generalized or localized, without loss of consciousness.

Unequal pupil sizes

The two pupils do not have the same diameter, or one does not react to light like the other.

Unusual aggression

Sudden change in behavior in a normally calm animal. In an unvaccinated animal, such a change requires the greatest caution.

Meows, barks, moans or bellows different from his own, often at night.
